Brenda Haislet soon after earning her degree in Art and Journalism from Indiana University, found herself moving to live not only in Midwest, but also in the East and South. It was in Louisville, Kentucky, thirty years ago, that she took up watercolor seriously. She tried a lot of other kinds of art, too, but, she admits, “It always comes back to watercolor.

Hans H. Johnson is a professor at East Carolina University involved in public health education. His interest in woodworking began several years ago. He enjoys spending time in his shop and has built most of the furniture in his home.
In addition to woodworking, Hans and his wife Paula and enjoy sailing--moving slowly along and dropping the anchor in small creeks.

Carolyn R. Sleeper is an award-winning potter, creating functional yet beautiful pots by throwing on the wheel or hand building. Alice Stallings has spent a life exploring various art media including printmaking, fabric dying and fabric painting. Her work includes the beautiful Bayeau Tapestry print series, etchings, mono prints, block printing and katazome.
